The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning and marketing project management. A key focus will be identifying ways to improve and streamline planning processes for the marketing group.
This is done on both a quarterly and annual basis and will involve working closely with the leadership team. You will also be working closely with multiple marketing groups including Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Corporate Marketing and Industry Marketing.
Experience and Qualifications:
* 7+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the B2B enterprise software space.
* Broad marketing background and understanding of core marketing concepts such as: competitive positioning, go-to-market strategies, value proposition, and messaging.
* World class planning, project management, program management and analytical skills.
* Ability to raise issues and opportunities to the highest levels of the organization.
* Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), CRM tools (such as Salesforce.com), marketing automation tools (such as Eloqua and WebEx)
* BS/BA with related Marketing focus, PMP a plus
* Understanding of financial budgeting and corporate/business strategy
